Cristiano Ronaldo overcame his FA Cup penalty heartbreak with a birthday cake for Manchester United.
The Portuguese legend still managed to raise a smile on Saturday to celebrate 37 years – just a day after Middlesbrough ousted the Red Devils from the Cup.

Ronaldo blew United an early lead when he drilled a surprise spot-kick wide to extend his goalless run to four games.
He and his team-mates were held to a 1–1 draw with Championship side, but even if they scored in the shoot-out, Borough would stun Old Trafford by winning 8–7 on penalties.
Despite that disappointment, the superstar still managed to bring a smile to his birthday party in an adorable picture with partner Georgina Rodriguez.
He effectively placed one hand on the front shoulder and the other around it as he showed off his pearly white teeth wearing a black turtleneck.
The couple sat in front of a giant CR7 cake, and shared the picture on their Instagram with a lengthy message.
Ronaldo wrote: “Life is a roller coaster. Hard work, high speed, immediate goals, demanding expectations… but in the end, it all comes down to family, love, honesty, friendship, values that make it worth it. Thanks for all the messages! 37 and counting!”
