In October, he was accused of raping a woman on a Tinder date at a hotel in September 2020. In November last year, three more victims came forward, accusing them of 13 more sexual offences.
According to the CPS, Carrick is now facing one count of attempted rape, one count of assault by penetration, and one count of coercive and controlled behavior, in addition to six counts of rape. The other four women are said to be in the running for crimes that are said to have taken place between 2009 and 2018.
