NBA schedule 2022-23, Regular Season, Finals, Key Dates Reportedly Revealed

The 2021–22 NBA season is the 76th season of the National Basketball Association. The NBA returned to a full 82-game regular season in its normal mid-October to mid-April schedule for the first time since the 2018–19 NBA season, after two abbreviated seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic

NBA schedule 2022-23

This dictated our projected NBA 2021-2022 schedule release date. On occasion, the schedule is delayed until early August so that TV networks and league offices can project and intelligently schedule games at critical times such as Opening Night, Christmas Day, MLK Junior Day, mid-April, etc. It was not until August 14th 2017 that Commissioner Silver publicly explained that this unusually long delay is directly related to the extraordinarily impressive off-season move. Given that there is no financial implication for the NBA’s scheduled release date, there is no point in rushing the process. However, until we see another league experience a change to the free agency period, we expect the release to happen on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
