The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Indiana Pacers guard Caris Levert in a trade on Sunday, leading to a significant rise in one of the most promising young rosters in the Eastern Conference.

The Pacers get a 2022 second-round draft pick through Houston, most likely in their low 30s. The Cavaliers are also sending a 2027 second-round pick through the Utah Jazz.
Levert provides the Cavaliers – one of the surprising teams in the league – a much-needed scorer with the ability to reach the rim. Lever has averaged 18.7 points this season, including a 42-point performance against Chicago on Friday.
The Pacers are starting what is expected to be a roster makeover, with big men Domantas Sabonis and Miles Turner leading the trade talks.
