Japhet Tanganga stunned Tottenham fans when he slammed advertising hoardings after Mason Mount’s shoulder charge.
The Spurs defender was sent off for flight after the Chelsea star was off balance during his team’s 2–0 loss at Stamford Bridge.
He was seen sliding across the surface beyond the goalline before smacking his face on the hoardings around the pitch.
But after a few nervous moments as he was playing holding his head on the ground, the 22-year-old got back on his feet to play again.
And there was no hard feeling between the pair as Tanganga patted her opponent on the back.
Spurs fans online weren’t so sure, though some claim Mount should have looked red for Shaw.
User sparsmaka wrote on Twitter: “Mason Mount pushed Tanganga into boarding. Bad. Should have been a red card for Mason Mount.”
User D4n13l_C13 wrote: “Mount just looked over his shoulder and deliberately blocked Tanganga from the pitch to the ad board. Of course, not even a yellow one.”
