Aubameyang breaks silence
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he is fit and healthy after suffering a heart attack.
The 32-year-old striker returned to London from the Africa Cup of Nations after it was discovered that he had a wound in his heart.
The problem took him out of Gabon’s conflict with Ghana and he is now back in London – where he completes additional investigations.
Aubameyang provided an update on Instagram, saying: “Hello guys, I just came back to London to do some additional checkups, and I’m so happy to say that my heart is absolutely fine and I’m in perfect health! !
“Really appreciate all the messages over the last few days and I’m already back on it.”
But the former Gunners captain is set to continue training alone in north London.
