RALF RANGNICK says he is delighted to work with the team he has as the New Year’s transfer window opens.
There is money available for the new Manchester United boss and a chance to shift some fringe players.

But Rangnik added: “It makes no sense at this stage to talk about future players coming to the club when we have to figure out which player is in what position, the best possible solution for every game.” .
“Right now for me, it makes no sense to think about the future players. All my focus is on the current team and finding the best possible formation and line-up for each game.”
Rangnik isn’t afraid to make big decisions as he proved on Thursday night as he made six changes from a poor performance at Newcastle, only one of which was implemented.
He added: “It’s always about man management, having a good relationship with the players. But also keep in mind that you are the decision maker.
“Who is going to play, who will be replaced, who will be on the bench or possibly not even in the squad for the next game.”
Rangnik was delighted to see how Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani worked together in Thursday’s 3-1 win against Burnley.
Now he wants to see that kind of understanding across the pitch.
He said: “That’s another thing we’re trying to achieve, no matter what formation we’re trying to play in, we have every player in their best shape.

“So it’s not just about the partnership between Cristiano and Bruno, it’s about the partnership between the other players.
“Yesterday (Thursday) it was about a partnership between Edinson and Cristiano and it worked out well. Edison was the highest distance scorer in the entire team.
“Since we will change the team and start the line-up every game, it is about developing individual partnerships and the whole team, and they should play with the same mindset and principles when we are in possession of the ball. Or when the other team is in possession.”
