The Red Devils climbed into the top four yesterday thanks to Marcus Rashford’s last-gasp winner against West Ham.
Rashford netted with the last kick of the game to help United jump above the Londoners in the Premier League table.
And despite being happy with the win, interim boss Ralph Rangnick admitted he was still ‘not happy enough’ with how his side played on the ball.
The German added: “I’m still not quite happy with the way ball possession is played, so this will be the next step in the next few weeks so that we can find better solutions in ball possession.”
If he manages to finish United in the top four, Rangnik is up for a bonus of around £500,000.
The Mirror reports that the German has a clause in his contract that sees him close to a half-million bonus if he secures Champions League football for the club next season.
Elsewhere Real Madrid are reported to be joining Manchester United and
Liverpool in race for England star Jude Bellingham.
According to Marca, Real Madrid are plotting one swoop for the teenager, with the aim of replacing him with aging Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
And finally, Manchester United are ‘always’ at the front in the search for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
This is according to Corriere dello Sport, who claim the Red Devils are in pole position to sign the 26-year-old.
