According to an angry Red Devils fan, Marcus Rashford’s ‘Sunday League’ cross summarized Manchester United’s horrific performance against Newcastle.
United could only draw 1–1 at home to the relegation candidates.
And fans online weren’t happy.
Alan St. Maximin scored seven minutes later.
Edinson Cavani eventually equalized with 19 minutes to go in the second half.
But it was United’s disappointing performance – especially in the first half – and fans and pundits kept them informed.
One moment in particular wounded supporters.
Rashford chased down the draw with United on the left.

But instead of finding the red shirt in the middle, he jerked it in the crowd.
One fan said ‘he is the essence of United today’.
Several other comments stacked up with one: “Worst cross of all time.”
And it wasn’t just the fans, with Sky pundit Gary Neville saying: “Honestly, they’re absolutely shocking there.
“To be honest with you, he was sacked the last manager, but Ralph Rangnick is not being sacked, he only has two or three weeks.”
United boss Rangnik himself said: “I didn’t like the performance at all.
“Today we didn’t control the game except for a few moments.

“It’s all about energy, physicality and who wins the second ball.
“In all those areas, we weren’t at our best.
“The good thing is that we got a point, but the performance needs to be improved.”
