Nikos Dabizas has advised his former club to target Premier League players with limited playing time during the January transfer window.

Dabijas told SunSport: “All 20 teams [talented] Players who don’t get enough minutes and that could be something Newcastle can take advantage of.

,[The January transfer window] It’s always tough for every team. That’s when you can only take additional steps, not just general restructurings for years to come. They have to take careful steps to achieve the main goal, which is to avoid exile.

“But under no circumstances will they be able to build a foundation in January because nobody sells their best player mid-season and even if they do, it won’t be cheap.

“The hierarchies and clubs need to find suitable candidates so that they can gradually establish the foundation that will allow them to become more competitive and climb through the ranks.

“What’s important to me [the players’] Inspiration. Certainly financial considerations will come into play but if that is the only reason why he chose Newcastle then he would not be the right choice.

“For me, the appropriate mindset [is important] Because Newcastle is an intense, as well as loyal, crowded club and the players they take for granted historically are the ones who recognize and dedicate their soul to the team.

“If a player comes in for only a few extra voids on his contract he will not be healthy and [he] Will not increase the squad. It has to be a significant combination of talent, personality, motive and character.”
