Cristiano Ronaldo stunned everyone with a surprising omission in Manchester United’s clash at Burnley.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner defied the brilliance of his all-time goalscoring record by blazing high from just behind the penalty spot.
Ronaldo had ample time to shape his side-footer and was faced only by Clarets keeper Wayne Hennessy.
But he ranked it high despite going for accuracy rather than power.
Ironically, however, United soon came out with another rarity – a target from Scott McTominay.
The midfielder nets for the first time this season – Ronaldo of course.
