Manchester United talisman Cristiano Ronaldo is keen to return to his old club Real Madrid.

A report in El Nacional said the Portugal forward has asked his agent Jorge Mendes to find another club.

It adds: “He longs for his days in the capital of Spain, and they have proposed his signing to Florentino Pérez.

“There is no doubt that the fans will be delighted to see Ronaldo in white again.”

Meanwhile, according to Sky Sports, Crystal Palace are looking to take United outcast Donny van de Beek on loan.

The Dutch midfielder is still unable to find game time under United’s caretaker gaffer Ralf Rangnick and also had surplus to requirements for former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And the Red Devils are eyeing Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, worth £21.5m.

Apparently Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Spurs are also interested in the Brazil star.

But the Manchester giants will face competition from Spurs and Liverpool for the signing of Porto star Luis Diaz.

SunSport has exclusively revealed that United plan to hijack the move to Liverpool, with Tottenham now also in the running for his signature.

But Anthony Martial’s suffering at Old Trafford seems to be over.

His loan move from Manchester United to Sevilla was due to be completed last night.

The 26-year-old was pictured arriving in France, wearing a facemask emblazoned with the Sevilla club badge before the move.

The Ligue 1 side are reportedly paying a loan fee of around £6m but are under no option or obligation to make the transfer permanent over the summer.
