Chelsea and Tottenham fight for the striker
Chelsea and Tottenham meet on the pitch today, and they are battling it out for Lille striker Jonathan David this summer as well.
The striker has been linked with some other big hitters in Europe such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
However, the Canada international is not looking to give up on the French champion in January.
But the possibilities of visiting summer are on the rise, even though the 22-year-old hasn’t narrowed down her list of favorite destinations.
David’s agent Nick Mawromaras hints that his client may be persuaded to join a new club with only a lucrative “project”.
Mavromaras recently said: “The questions we ask the clubs are simple: what is the project [club ambition],
“When we meet a club there are a lot of questions, and the one who checks the most is the one who will [David’s] next destination.”
