Chelsea have confirmed that John Terry is returning to the club.
Three years after leaving for club legend Aston Villa, the Blues giants will take a consulting job at the academy’s coach.

Chelsea said: “John Terry is returning to Cobham to begin a coaching consulting role at Chelsea Academy.
“The Blues veteran will work with our young players and the coaching staff in our youth development programme, sharing his 20-year playing career and the vast experience he recently gained as an assistant coach at Aston Villa.
“As well as providing on-field coaching, our former club captain will contribute to coaching discussions with colleagues, mentor academy players and support parent-child interactions.
“He will begin the role in a part-time capacity early next month.
“This flexibility is beneficial to both John and the academy, as it allows him to develop his own coaching skills, along with other commitments, while being better utilized within our development program.”
Neil Bath, Head of Youth Development, said: “We are delighted to welcome John to Cobham in a role that will include coaching and mentoring the next generation of young players at our academy.
