Chelsea have been given a big boost with Jorginho in training on the eve of their Carabao Cup quarter-finals at Brentford.
The 30-year-old vice-captain was forced into a 0-0 draw with Wolves on Sunday after testing positive for Covid.
However, Thomas Tuchel revealed on Tuesday that it was a FALSE positive.
And after testing again, Jorginho recorded a negative result.
That means he was able to attend training with the rest of his Chelsea teammates on Tuesday.
And Jorginho is now set to feature in a starting XI to help ease Tuchel’s injury and the Covid crisis, with the Blues set to be without nine first-team players.
Tuchel confirmed: “No one has come back except Jorginho because his test was negative, so it was clearly a false positive. He is back in training.
“Andreas Christensen is very suspicious of injury and the same goes for Trevoh Chaloba.

“They (Academy players) trained with us yesterday and today. We called him for two training sessions as it is necessary.
“When we let him in, we found out that Lewis Baker was positive for Covid, so another player is out. So we run the risk of bringing in other players from the academy who have it (Covid).
“That’s the situation. Having a team of 13 or 14 players for a match is a problem but not a big problem.
“We can do it and we can fight, but we’ve injured Trevoh Chaloba in the match. We put him in big doubt. We have N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic involved, who are a huge, big risk.” Was taking and now we are paying for it.
“They can’t just start with five matches in two weeks or three matches in a week, it’s absolutely impossible. So the problem will escalate, the situation will escalate and we can’t let the players suffer because there are no other players. It’s simply impossible. Is.
“We have to protect our players and protect health and that’s why we brought the academy [players], It’s no secret and we look forward to playing with him.”
