Arsenal outcast Aubameyang wanted by six European clubs including Barcelona and Juventus with striker set for transfer

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly being chased by six European clubs as Arsenal try to land the striker this month.

The 32-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates after falling out of favor with Mikel Arteta after being stripped of the captaincy.

Aubameyang has not appeared for the Gunners since December 6 due to disciplinary issues.

And with the Gabon international entering the final 18 months of his contract, Arsenal now expect a £350,000-a-week salary from his books.

The former Borussia Dortmund marksman is understood to already have a loan offer from Al Nasser on the table, with the obligation to sign him permanently for £6.7m.

And his Saudi Arabian rival Al Hilal is also hoping to lure Aubameyang to the Middle East where he is set to cover his salary.

But the centre-forward is believed not to be in favor of moving to the Gulf country as he looks to compete in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

According to the Mirror, the 2020 FA Cup winner has no shortage of suitors who are keen to keep him on the continent.

They say Spanish giants Barcelona and Sevilla are interested in him along with Italian sides Juventus and AC Milan.

A move to France could also mean a move to the ex-Saint-Etienne ace, as a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Marseilles.

However, news outlets claim that no club will be willing to cover his hefty salary.

Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Adebayor believes there is no way out for Aubameyang at the Emirates after he declared that fans don’t know how to ‘sorry’.

Opting to join Manchester City, Adebayor was chased down by Gunners supporters in 2009 before he celebrated wildly in front of a traveling faithful at the Etihad after scoring.

Despite Aubameyang declaring himself fit after his early release from the Africa Cup of Nations, Adebayor believes he has played his last Arsenal game.

He added: “I know he’s definitely going to go through a lot because he’s the arsenal for you. You can’t do what you do.

“They never learn or they never know how to forgive. So, I know he’ll go through a lot.

“But he is a strong player, he is a good player, he is a wonderful player. I wish him all the best. I already sent him a message because we want him to bounce back.

“He is our African brother and we want him to continue to represent Africa the way he was before the problem.”

Adebayor was then asked if he thought there was a way for him, to which he replied: “At Arsenal I don’t think so.

“This is what I know because it happened to me as well. Not in the same way, but in a way backwards? At Arsenal, I have to wonder [if he had a future],

“But as I’m telling you, he’s a great player so let’s see how he ends up.”
