GEORGINIO WIJNALDUM have dealt a blow to Arsenal and Newcastle in their search for a midfielder, reportedly saying he has no intention of leaving PSG.
Wijnladum has been linked with a move to Arsenal, who are in dire need of midfield reinforcements, as well as a return to former club Newcastle.

Tottenham are also rumored to be interested, with one possibility involving a swap-deal from Tangui Ndombele.
But now the transfer away from PSG is dead in the water, according to French Football News.
It is claimed that the 31-year-old will view his time in Paris as a ‘failure’ if he leaves this month.
Wijnaldum arrived at the club only in the summer, joining on a free transfer from Liverpool.
However, the Dutchman has failed to establish a regular starting berth in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad since joining the French giants.
And PSG is believed to be not averse to loaning him until the end of the season.

Arsenal are believed to have inquired for his services, while mega-rich Newcastle attempted to sign Wijnaldum earlier this month.
Although it is believed that he turned down the opportunity to return to St James’s Park, where he spent the 2015/16 season.
The goalscoring midfielder is firmly focused on staying at PSG, and finally looks to bring the long-awaited Champions League trophy to the French capital.
Wijnaldum has played in Ligue 1 18 times for PSG in this campaign, although only eight of those appearances have been made since the start.
He is hardly a well-established figure in PSG’s midfield, and has scored just once in the French top-flight this season.
But he is not expected to leave the Parc des Princes during the winter window, despite his lack of regular playing time.
