The incident follows similar crowd trouble as Aston Villa claimed a 1-0 win at Everton on Saturday.

Villa’s Matty Cash and new signing Lucas Digne – who joined the Toffees earlier this month – were hit with bottles looted from home support.

Several plastic bottles were thrown toward the pitch as guest stars celebrated Amy Bendia’s major goal at Goodison Park.

Rudiger appears to have been targeted by Spurs fans in a fiery London derby.

The Germany international can be seen turning towards the fans as an object was thrown in their direction.

A Spurs spokesman said: “In relation to the Rudiger incident, we will work with Chelsea to review the footage and take appropriate action.”

This happened after Rudiger’s Chelsea team registered a 2–0 victory at kick-off late in the day.

Hakim Ziyech opens the scoring with a left footed screamer from the top of the box after the break.

Veteran defender Thiago Silva followed exactly eight minutes after a second.

The first half ended without a goal, but a number of strange incidents happened.

Spurs defender Japhet Tangagana was carried by Mason Mount shoulder charge in advertising hoardings.

And minutes later Harry Kane noticed that the build-up had deflected what looked like a soft push on Silva.
