UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Nganou is 90 percent sure he will face Tyson Fury in a blockbuster crossover bout after making his first defense of the title.

Nganou, 34, has been receiving several call-outs from the british Brit ahead of his UFC 270 title defense against Cyril Gain on Sunday morning.

The Predator has publicly acknowledged Fury’s challenges and believes he will be down with the WBC Heavyweight Champion after seeing Gaine.

When asked how confident he was about a fight with the Wythenshaw warrior, he replied: Out of ten?

“Let’s say eight. Why not nine? Just to be conservative.”

African powerhouse Ngannu has refused to let the prospect of a multimillion-pound showdown with the Gypsy King distract from his first defense of the UFC’s heavyweight crown.

He said: “That idea just came out like that, but I’m not thinking about that fight right now.

“Of course I think it would be a good thing to bring something new. Some crossover thing, some weird, very entertaining.

Nganou will become a free agent if he loses his grudge match with former teammate Gain, although a win will extend his current deal until the end of the year.

Cameron’s club doesn’t know what the future holds for him, but he admits he wants his next outing to be a big money showdown with Fury.

He said: “I don’t know [if the fight will happen]but that’s what i want [against],

Should Nganou get the better of the undefeated Gain, a blockbuster bout with former pound-for-pound UFC King Jon Jones would be on the cards.

But if both Jones and Fury clashed with the former refugee, he would prefer a venture into the boxing ring.

He told Sky Sports: “If you give me two options, I’ll choose to fight Tyson Fury.

“After Fighting Stipe” [Miocic]The Jon Jones fight was on the table, but it seems like nobody really cares, so I don’t know.

“And at the same time, we don’t even know what the status of Jon Jones is right now.

“I don’t plan my life based on that. I’ll plan my life based on facts.”
