But now Hearn and Frank Warren – Fury’s promoters – will have to wait until Friday, January 21, to place their first bids.

talking to bbc radio 5 liveHearn said: “We received an email overnight – this Friday is now the official date for the first bid.

“Who knows if this might change, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes, there’s a lot of discussion.

“Obviously, there is a legal position between Dillian and the WBC as well, but we are looking to move forward.

“I think people keep talking about March dates and things like that – it’s starting to get very unrealistic.

“Dillian wants to fight. He hasn’t boxed since March last year.

“Hopefully we can progress with purse bids or close the deal if necessary.”

The WBC orders Fury to fight White and Warren suggests a March date in the UK is likely.

But the WBC also ruled that White would get only 20 percent of the purse, which angered Britain.

In response, White has launched a legal battle in an attempt to increase his share – but he is likely to fight Fury regardless of the Court of Arbitration’s decision.
