'Never say never' - Dana White refuses to rule out signing Jake Paul to UFC and vows to end verbal feud with YouTuber

DANA WHITE has refused to sign Jake Paul in the UFC and vowed to end the verbal war between them.

The UFC president has recently had an online spat with YouTube star Paul.

White was largely accused of his UFC stagnant payout, while he himself hit the boxing record of the American celebrity.

But if Conor McGregor’s crossover super-fight with Floyd Mayweather has taught the UFC boss anything, it’s ‘Never Say Never.

As a result, with Paul teasing her to switch to MMA, White did not close the door on offering the American celebrity a UFC deal.

He said on the Nellk Boys podcast: “I don’t know. I don’t think it will ever happen, but listen – I say never now.

“You know, I didn’t think about Floyd and Connor, or that I’d end any of my boys against Floyd. Because it makes absolutely no sense.”

Paul, 24, knocked out and defeated two of White’s former fighters, Ben Askren, 37, and Tyrone Woodley, 39.

Ex-UFC champion Woodley was initially defeated on points in August, but was KO’d in his rematch in December.

Paul’s more than two wins came against online rival ‘AnsonGib’ and ex-NBA point guard Nate Robinson, 37.

As a result, White has ridiculed the social media sensation for failing to fight an opponent who had previously boxed professionally.

Their feud also turned sour when Paul accused the MMA promoter of using cocaine.

But White denied the allegation and offered to be tested for the recreational drug over a period of ten years.

In return, they asked Paul to take a drug test for two years, accusing the 5-0 prize winner of using steroids.

Paul later countered and denied the allegations and agreed to be tested by the United States Anti-Doping Agency – the drug testing partners of the UFC.

I don’t think that will ever happen, but listen – I say never now.

White admitted during his interview with Canadian prank group Nelk Boys that this would be the last time he would address Paul.

He said: “It’s not like they don’t have respect for me.

“You know, I don’t even know the child. After all, I don’t even know the child.

“And you know what? To be honest with you, I’ll just tell you right here, it’s the last time you’ll hear me talk about that.

“I’m done with it. I challenged, he said, ‘You do Coke’, I said, ‘I think you use performance-enhancing drugs’, he never responded.

“So set the fire baby, do your job. I’m here to argue with this kid who doesn’t even fight for me, and is never going to fight for me.

“So what does that mean and I’m going back and forth with each other?”
