Jake Paul teases ‘big announcement’ that will make people ‘s**t’ themselves after buying shares in UFC’s parent company

JAKE PAUL has teased a ‘big announcement’ after acquiring shares in the parent company of UFC.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer — who has been outspoken over the issue of fighter pay in the UFC over the past six months — revealed this week that he had bought Endeavor stock.

And the former Disney star pointed to a big announcement being made on Thursday.

On Wednesday night, Paul wrote on his Instagram Story: “Big announcement coming tomorrow. @mostvaluablepromotions.”

A few hours later, Paul suggested that the announcement would make serious waves.

In response to a tweet by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, Paul said: “Listen, dude, all these emoji are cool but you’re gonna wear your pants tomorrow.”

It’s unclear what power, if any, changes Paul will have in Endeavour following the recent purchase of shares.

But The Problem Child — along with its investment partner Geoffrey Wu — hopes to encourage influence and active hedge fund investors to come on board and make a serious impact.

He said: “I have invested in EDR (UFC) stock with my partner @geoffreywoo2, which focuses on UFC ESG standards related to fighters.

“We believe that EDR can add long-term economic value to UFC fighters by increasing their salaries and providing them with healthcare.

“Contacting @EngineNo_1 to be a participant in this ‘effort’.”

The focus of Paul’s fury at UFC Fighter Pay has been the promotion’s president, Dana White, whom he has repeatedly targeted on social media.

Earlier this month, he told White: “You’re one of the most selfish capitalist motherf**kers I’ve ever seen.

“Everyone else needs you, Dana.

“I’m the only person who doesn’t need you and I don’t give af**k about you.

“But all these people, all your fighters, all of them, they can’t say that you will sell them.

“You met your producer, I’m not going to stop. Welcome to the show, ladies and gentlemen.

“The bottom line, Mage, is that you won’t add health care to your fighters because you don’t give af**k about them and you’re going to pay your minimum fighter a lot of a greedy b***h. There are more than $12,000 to risk your life.

“That’s what makes a janitor. You’ve got to pay them $50,000, Dana. Stop taking what I say.”
