Chel Sonnen has claimed that Jake Paul is ‘the most feared man in boxing’, with fighters ‘not sure they can beat him’.

This despite becoming an award-winning YouTuber yet facing an opponent with a former professional boxing record.

He was due to fight Tommy Fury – who is 7-0 – until the British ex-realty TV star succumbed to a broken rib and chest infection.

Paul, 25, overtook ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, instead, and pulled off a brutal knockout victory.

Former middleweight boxing world champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., 35, is among the names in talks to take on the American celebrity next.

But former UFC title challenger Sonnen, 44, believes the traditional and experienced boxer is finding himself second guessing 5-0 against Paul.

He said on his YouTube channel: “Jake Paul is the most feared man in boxing.

“These boxers aren’t sure they can beat him. They’re not sure they can deal with it.

“Trainers aren’t sure why a kid who’s had it since middle school and has done it with age 11 or 12 can’t jump on a guy who’s done it four times.

“It’s the biggest, highest-profile spotlight with the biggest paychecks and nobody wants to do that.

“You don’t hear the names pop up. You don’t hear them sprouting anywhere.”

Paul has KO’s victories over online rival ‘EnsonGib’, former NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37.

He then defeated Woodley on points in August and was won by KO in their late-notice rematch four months later.
