But fans were sure it was fixed as Paul flexed his wrist as a ‘signal’ seconds before delivering a devastating blow.
Woodley’s coach dismissed such claims, saying the MMA star wanted to ‘win’.
Speaking to MMA on Sirius XM, Deen Thomas said: “That whole theory, it makes me laugh.
“Because being in his camp, I know how serious it was.
“It was serious like Tyrone really wanted this win back, he really wanted this fight and it was a serious thing.
“Now, if it was a dive, I wish they had told me about it because I wouldn’t have shown up and took the night off.

“I would love to party but it wasn’t. I mean it was a real, legal battle.”
Woodley admitted that he made the fatal mistake of dropping his hand before Paul’s punch.
But has claimed that he is not ready to retire yet.
Woodley reminisced: “I fight for my kids and my family. I told you guys I was in shape, I told you guys I was ready to fight, and I told you guys that I was in her was in better shape.
“So, I did that tonight and went back and looked at it and thought.
“Why the f**k I dropped my hand? I was ready, I had both hands up and I was expecting an overhand.
“I knew he was going to delay the punch. But even if he delayed it, I was up for it.
“Even if he didn’t delay, I don’t know why I dropped my guard. In this game, there’s only one mistake, just one mistake, I blocked many of his shots.”
