Jake Paul found himself embroiled in a controversy on Twitter with Tommy Fury promoter Frank Warren after he claimed he hadn’t heard a ‘peek’ from them about rescheduling their grudge match.
Paul and Fury, 22 and 24 respectively, were to be thrown out last weekend, until the latter was ruled out of their performances due to injury and illness.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul was expected to hear from Team Fury after his surprise sixth-round KO from former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, although he claims he has yet to contact his management.
On Tuesday evening, the former Disney star tweeted: “Just asked my team if we’ve heard from Fury, Frank Warren or Queensberry… not f*****g peeps!
“Fumbles and fake f*** they are.”
This enraged Warren, Queensbury’s head of publicity, who questioned Paul’s willingness to confront the former Love Islander.
Upon seeing the tweet, Warren replied: “No mess and fake here.
“We talked to your manager last weekend. Tommy wants it. We want it. Do you want it?

“Let’s fight!!”
The Problem Child casts doubt on his performance with Fury after Paul ices Woodley.
He admitted: “I don’t really know what’s next on the roadmap. I’ve done it all, I’ve accomplished what I’ve achieved.
“I need to take a break, I’ve been going on this non-stop for a year and a half and that’s a lot.
“I’m tired, I need to spend time with my family on Christmas and go on vacation, I haven’t been on vacation since I was 18.
“I told myself, ‘Until you feel like you’ve found a place in life where you deserve a vacation’ and I deserve it now.
“I’m going on my first real vacation where there’s no obligation, because I’ve been on vacations where I have to film it, vlog it, do interviews and wake up at a certain time to get to work.
“I’m going on a real vacation and doing backflips in the water—I’ll be back whenever I feel like it.”
However, Warren hopes that the pair will meet in ‘early’ next year.

He told Sky Sports: “We will consider rescheduling in early 2022.
“Jake said Tommy Fury was ‘lucky’ he wasn’t there, but in fact Tommy was extremely unlucky to miss out on his injury.
“A fit Tommy Fury is a very different proposition for Tyrone Woodley.”
