Now a free agent, Ngannou has the crossover ability Cameron has always wanted in boxing.

Already calling on some of boxing’s biggest stars, SunSport pinned down five potential opponents for Nganau.

Tyson Fury

The WBC and UFC champions have long been locked in a verbal feud, with Ngannou claiming there is a ‘9/10’ chance that they will eventually fight.

Fury, 33, teased ‘Clash of the Heavyweight Titans’ shortly after being called up for a boxing match with 4oz UFC gloves on.

After Ngannou’s win over Points Gain, Fury posted on Instagram: “Watch Big GK if you want to make some real money.”

Dillian White

In the summer of 2020, White and Nganou were linked in a sensational two-fight deal, one in a cage and in the ring.

The pair also recorded a virtual conference call, but without the knowledge of UFC President Dana White, meaning it was never released.

With White, 33, already opening the door to face Ngannou, and words being traded, it sets up the crossover conflict well.

deontay wilder

The American former WBC champion was nominated by Ngannou because he wanted to wear gloves.

Ngannou told TMZ in December: “Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder. I would like to test myself to that level.”

Wilder, 36, has yet to make a comeback since losing in a trilogy to Fury in October, but will be two of the biggest punchers of all time in a fight with Ngannou.

Joe Joyce

Unbeaten British contender Joyce, 36, is one of the only heavyweights in the world to really know the extent of Nganou’s boxing ability.

The pair enjoyed a few sparring sessions in Las Vegas in 2020 and Joyce was impressed by the MMA powerhouse.

Secret combat sessions have long been used to increase the demand of a fight and this could be no different.

Derek Chisora

The veteran fan-favorite has teased an MMA switch before and is always open to risky but money-making fights.

With his reputation of exciting British supporters, Ngannu could have been the prefect ready-made boxing rival in Chisora.

Chisora recently ousted Wilder so it won’t be a problem to welcome Nganou to the ring.
