But despite talks of retirement, the 38-year-old Brit looks to face the bronze bomber as the American eyes his return after losing to Tyson Fury in his trilogy fight.
And their matchroom promoter is confident that the veteran can score a big win over the knockout specialist.
talking to pitch boxingHearn said: “I believe that Chisora, if he gets past round three or four, can really beat Deontay Wilder.
“He will accept the fight with Wilder and it’s a good fight for Wilder.”

Chisora’s desire to face Wilder stems from her eagerness to share the ring with all the big names of her generation.
He continued: “What most people don’t understand is that some people want the notion of being a boxer on Instagram.
“I’m not that guy. I want to be that guy that when I sit down and everyone looks at my resume, I want to say, ‘You know, I fought everybody.’
“I don’t want to let people decide for me, I decide for myself and am happy with the decisions I make.
“So if I have to fight Deontay Wilder, if I have to fight anybody, if I have to fight an American, I don’t care. I will fight.”
Hearn has previously stated that he loves the idea of a dust-up between two heavy hitters, saying: “Deontay Wilder, we want to see you back in the ring. I have the perfect guy for you – Derek Chisora.
“Come on, he’s moving a bit, he’s now coming off three losses on spin. Easy comeback fight for Deontay Wilder. Derek is ready.”
