Deontay Wilder's coach breaks down why Tyson Fury will LOSE to Oleksandr Usyk unless he reverts to former style

Tyson Fury won’t get the better of Oleksandr Usyak until he goes back to the style used to dethrone Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

The WBC King is expected to take on the Unified Heavyweight Champion in an undisputed title fight later this year.

Fury is confident of running through Usyk after his 11th round KO of Deontay Wilder in October, although The Bronze Bomber head coach Malik Scott does not see this version of the Gypsy King defeating the slick southpaw.

He told ES News: “I believe Fury fighting Wladimir Klitschko fits Usyak in all sorts of fits.

“Movement, reflexes. This fury will beat Usyk right now… This fury is easier to hit than any fury before.”

Before Fury can even think of getting his hands on Usyk, he must first get through his mandatory title defense against fellow Brit Dillian White.

SunSport understands that the long-awaited Battle of Britain was tentatively in the works at the end of February.

But Fury co-promoter Bob Arum recently claimed that White is being ‘greedy’ with his purse demands.

He told IFL TV: “Dillian White could do that fight. We’ll do that fight.

“But they – in our view – are very greedy with what they are asking.

“We’ve offered them a big, good deal.

“A purse deal is worth more than what they’ve got in any fight, and it’s no use to them.

“So we’ve talked to the head of WBC – Mauricio Suleiman – and he said ‘Look, it breaks my heart, but find another opponent, fight without the WBC title and we won’t take it away from you’

“Dillian White really, and his men, should come to the table and fight Tyson Fury, but that’s not likely to happen so they’re going to play arbitration.”

The 90-year-old added: “If he can think he can win and take the WBC title, stop the millions with arbitration and push for the biggest dollar.

“Tyson is the big attraction, no one has actually heard of Dillian White in the United States.

“We’ve offered him a deal with 25 percent and a guarantee and allowed him to negotiate it, but again he says he wants ten million plus eight-figures which is out of the question.

“WBC will talk to the champion about 25 percent and 75 percent but he needs to come to the table with the usual kind of conversation.”
