According to ESPNAl Hemon’s PBC banner has offered Canelo a one-fight deal against American Charlo to headline him at pay-per-view.

While Eddie Hearn has a double-header package, that will see Alvarez down to light-heavyweight to face Bivol and then a trio with GGG.

Charlo, 31, is currently the unbeaten WBC middleweight champion, but has long rivaled Canelo, 31, who promotes a division at super-middleweight.

Alvarez finished his final fight of 2021 under PBC, defeating 29-year-old Caleb Plante, to become the undisputed king.

They banked on a guaranteed £30 million following the box office success, rising to a figure where 800,000 PPVs were sold.

Keeping up with Heymon’s fixture on Showtime or Fox could prove to be an attractive option for Canelo.

But, after splitting from Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy banner in 2020, Alvarez will fight three times under Hearn, while still on the streaming service DAZN.

His victories over Callum Smith, 31, Avni Yildirim, 30 and Billy Joe Saunders, 32, contributed to his road to undeniable glory.

Accepting Hearn’s offer would give Canelo a chance to collect another belt at the light-heavyweight, who won the WBO edition in 2019.

But after a knockout at the end of the 11th round over 38-year-old Russian Sergei Kovalev, he vacated the title to return to weight.

Hearn wants Canelo to try history and be undisputed at two weights, pound-for-pound with No. 1 also tied with KO artist Artur Betterbiev, 37.

Bivole, 31, has held the title since 2017 and defended it in Manchester against Britain’s Craig Richards, 31, in May last year.

Perhaps the most lucrative fight for Canelo in boxing is a trilogy with longtime rival Golovkin, 39.

The pair controversially drew with GGG in 2017, unfortunately not adjudged, only to lose in a thrilling rematch a year later to Kazakh.

Both sold more than 1m PPV but both will walk on different paths.

Golovkin remains at middleweight, where he reigns as the IBF title holder and is set to unite it with a WBA belt against Japan’s Ryota Murata, 36.

But Canelo warns GGG that he will have to gain weight for the first time to ensure a third installment of his series.

Hearn is able to offer the trilogy, which Golovkin has signed, fights on DAZN.

Canelo’s request was accepted by the WBC to go up to CRUISERWEIGHT and try for a fifth world title.

But 34-year-old challenging champion Ilunga Makabu is on the shelf for the time being.
