Boxers who criticized Jake Paul’s fame in the sport have been accused of being ‘jealous’ of the YouTuber’s success.
The former Disney star-turned-boxer, along with his older brother Logan, has become one of the most talked-about fighters in the sport.

The attention the younger Paul brother has garnered has received considerable criticism from notable names in the game, who former UFC star Chel Sonnen believes are jealous of The Problem Child.
The three-time UFC title challenger said on his YouTube channel: “‘Let him fight a boxer’, that’s a quote.
“It’s a quote everyone wants to bury [Jake] Paul.
“No one has said a name. And it’s because you don’t know them.
“Boxing has done a terrible job. Boxers do a terrible job with self-promotion.
“They look at Paul and they’re jealous instead of looking at Paul and going, ‘Oh my God, this is what I have to do. That’s what I should do.’

“Because we can only keep throwing the word ‘a boxer,’ we can say it until we’re out of the blue or we can tell the truth. We don’t know who they are.”
Paul, 24, made a brutal one-punch viral KO of former UFC welterweight king Tyron Woodley late last year.
Their sixth-round demolition of The Chosen One brought their unbeaten record to a 5–0 finish.
Paul’s 2021 was busy – fighting three times – and planning to take a long break before returning to the ring.

He added: “I really don’t know what’s next on the roadmap. I’ve done it all, I’ve accomplished what I’ve achieved.
“I need to take a break, I’ve been going on this non-stop for a year and a half and that’s a lot.
“I’m tired, I need to spend time with my family and go on vacation for Christmas, I haven’t been on vacation since I was 18.”
